Chico, California
When attending Butte College, the majority of our international students choose to live in the city of Chico. Chico is a small city of about 100,000 people located 14 miles (22 km) from the Butte College main campus. Chico is a friendly and diverse community. It is also home to Bidwell Park, the 3rd largest city park in the United States. Students enjoy many outdoor activities as well as farmers markets, cafes, music and more.

During your time here you will enjoy an exciting college experience with many opportunities to participate in social, cultural, educational and recreational activities on and off campus. As an international student living in the community of Chico we encourage you to become a part of our Chico Culture. Below you will find resources to ongoing campus and community resources.
